No, they will be referred to as Merc, Toyota, Tiger and Daytona. If that's a source of either amusement or annoyance for you, it's your issue.
I don't bat an eyelid every time you mention you're an off road rallying god.

What do you drive? Not that I really give a stuff.
It's a motorcycling forum, people talk about motoring issues, that means mentioning their bikes and their cars.
Some people really have issues.

Re: Speed camera vans
What would happen if you braked very very hard (possibly even almost an emergency stop) if you saw a camera or speed gun? Assuming you were in full control and it couldn't be deemed dangerous or careless driving, presumably there is nothing they could do?
Re: Speed camera vans
Radar cameras like the Gatso work on two separate distance readings over a set time to work out speed, and take two readings hence the double flash. If there's too big a difference in speed between the two readings they abort the test, so you can foil those by standing on the brakes. Laser cameras I don't know.simonw wrote:What would happen if you braked very very hard (possibly even almost an emergency stop) if you saw a camera or speed gun? And a great kid
And a successful career with a six figure salary
