Slaidburn out towards Long Preston, then follow the minor roads to Bentham, then back to Slaidburn. Or reverse, and repeat. Slaidburn has a nice cafe by the bridge over the River Hodder.

Re: Forest of Bowland
You could spend a life time exploring the single track roads round the dale.but your best bet is wait till red eric is doing one of his red routes round the Dales and join in.we normally kick of with a breakfast at a59 cafe or elains tea room which you wouldn't find in a million years unless you knew where it was.then start the proper ride after that.it's quite a good ride to elains normally through gizburn forest heading out towards Clapham train station then a bit on the a65 the of that towards elains.cheers tony

Re: Forest of Bowland
Slaidburn take the Lythe Fell Road over the moors. Turn left at the top to Lowgill.
Before you get to Lowgill you can turn left at a tee junction then right about a muile further on to Wray, single track roads. Or turn right to Lowgill. Past Lowgill then on to Low Bentham then Bentham & back via Keasden Road to Stocks reservoir and either back to Slaidburn or on to Gisburn.
If you go the route to Wray you can come back into Low bentham and then as above.
I'll try to mark it up on Baseshite.

How strange, it changed the name even though I was looking at it on the screen :dry:Oop North John wrote:This it: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Ela ... -2.3229404anthony29040 wrote:elains tea room which you wouldn't find in a million years unless you knew where it was.
