Thank you Bill Gates.... Crappy Windows 10 craps out and seizes, lost item grrrr!!!

Anyone got a nice exhaust for an f800 hanging around....

I fixed my Windows 10 on the only computer I upgraded.

After it hung on me and I couldn't select the window icon or do anything for the umpteenth time I wiped my hard drive and re-installed Windows 7.

Bliss....

So I just sold all my surplus suits on ebay, paypal charged me a small fortune for the transactions and now ebay will invoice me too...

So the same organisation as ebay owns paypal gets to charge me double for a single sale! grr, its a shame i didnt get to sell them through here

Yea you can say goodbye to around 20% between the two payments its really overcharging for what they do.

I think ebay and paypal are now separate, but how separate, but the cost is still 20%.
However the posh auctions Bonhams etc are 30%!
You are paying for the wider audience compared to the specialist websites.

Microsoft is no longer supporting XP, windows 7 is still good.

This is why I try to sell things through either specialised forums like this or on one of the many Facebook selling pages that are out there now.

You can name your price & people will either pay it or haggle with you.

As a buyer I always pay the bit extra & use PayPal Goods & Services, just in case of dodgy dealings - that's only happened once though, people on the whole are fairly honest on these sites, especially if they've got a few posts under their belts...

I use windows 10 all the time with no problems but it is a newish computer, don't bother with XP anymore, windows 7 is still my favourite.

Bohams are bricks and mortar establishments who invest heavily in advertising, displaying and hosting items.Whereas eBay are in basic terms, merely a purveyor of other people items via a software interface thus not even handling or storing the items.
Their charges for non commercial sellers have seriously become unresonable for regular use hence why they are driving no cost/low cost/pay after sale offerings at the moment.
