But now I find myself intrigued as to know what he actually said!

So do many others, especially the families of those who did not come home. I include in this the many Argentine soldiers that I helped bury in a mass grave at Port Stanley.

I think it's more about the personal nature of it than the content. He was already on probation for the same thing.

I don't have any bias one way or the other towards him, but I read his posts on that thread as though he's commenting and trying to avoid any conflict like has happened in the past, and gets banned for doing so.

I will miss him, shared a beer or two with him once and he left a good impression on me which is all you can ask of someone I guess. I feel he overstepped the mark again digging at spud once more but he was not having a go at Falklands vets a bit he saw an opportunity to wind up spud and took it again. This is undoubtedly not the forum for him now and the ban in my opinion is correct. Enjoy your riding y'all B)

It was in response to his banning.
I recall his remark to Redmurty on his Falklands rememberence thread regarding not turning it into politics but didn't read the thread again after the first couple of pages.
He posts so much shite I wouldn't have a clue which comment he would have been banned for .
