Well at this stage it appears the capital's in lockdown due to a terror incident,theirs so much tension in society today,esp europe,we appear to be going backwards.

I'm relieved we came back from Bruges yesterday .... getting across London is enough of a challenge for a novice like me without all the Police/security "lockdown"! :blink:

I just hope the (reportedly) stabbed policeman is OK.

Well, I can predict the outcome.

It will be someone with 'mental health issues'...I'll leave everyone else to fill in the gaps...

Its about time all our police are properly armed. What use is a taser against a man with a gun!

Take NI for instance hand guns are standard issue over there. Why are we different

there's no shortage of armed police around Westminster...and they have dealt with the guy who was carrying a knife.

And people who think the police should be routinely armed should read this:

Well it looks like at least 4 people have been killed so let's 'spare a thought' for them :(
