Sticker Dilemma

Over the years, I have accumulated loads of stickers from countries I have been through/visited on the Ard Case panniers of the old 1100 Panzer. (thumbs)

My new 'Night Fighter' Panzer has black panniers with no stickers.

So my dilemma is this

1. Should the stickers show where the bike has been

or

2. Should the stickers show where the rider has been

Whats your thoughts :S

Tricky.

I have loads of those stickers too but I've not committed to sticking them to anything yet...

Harley riders don't have that problem, they just sew them on their waistcoats. I've sold my Harley, but still have the waistcoat. Unfortunately, doesn't really go with the Explorer, clean shaved short haired look though.

Use the panniers as storage in the garage and keep the memories that way.

I never thought about adding stickers and then it was too late and not bothered enough to go chasing down places I've been; not that it's a lot anyway....

New bike, new collection, would be my thoughts.

I would take the stickers off(hair drier helps),they will mean nothing to the new owner anyway!
Then stick them up in your garage/shed then they'll keep jogging those memories.
Start the new panzer "fresh".

Rider.

That's the shame about panniers and manufacturers. They update the frames so you need to change the boxes. Dirty trick and an easy way to screw you out of another £1000.

So I say the stickers are for the rider.

That's why I like my Krausers, €60 for a fitting kit if I change the bike.

I collect stickers but don't stick them anywhere............
