I don't disagree with the moderators decision and we do have to accept it, but sometimes we meet people like that anywhere in life. A club I sailed out of had a member who was a double for MotoAl and some folk wanted him gone. I got on well with him and often had to sort of talk to him about matters in my capacity as Secretary but when eventually he passed away there was a great sadness among all including those who had wanted him gone. I was one of the few who were privileged to know his background as he was very private and which was nothing short of amazing and explained so much.

Much as all is said I still liked MotAl's posts and would love to see him back. Sure he will always be Moto Al but the forum will always be too. If he does come over my way I will happily put a beer in front of him and hear his tales.

He's already back under his alter-ego "Triumph Tart" and has been grooming you all week.
