PICASA is dead !!!!

Just done a geat trip in the hills , took 250 pics BUT for some reason Picasa has closed down and i can't share pics :S

Anyone know of another "easy" way to share pics ?

I use the Picasa App and still use it upload to Google Photos. I know the app is now unsupported so I'll migrate one day.

How I share pics, is either share the entire google photos album (go to http://photos.google.com click the Album icon down the left, then open the album and click the share icon at the top. Then email that link)

For individual images, just open them (From a shared album in google photos) and once again either click the share icon, or right click, copy the link and email that to the person. The link is massive though! The link also doesn't work when embedding on some forums .. like this one. In that case you need to add ?.jpg to the end of it and remove the S on the end of https at the beginning so that for example (Scroll to the right to see the end of the lines):

Photobucket has been my favourite for sharing on social media and Dropbox for sharing entire folders of pics with friends.

I use photobucket. It's OK but was better before. It doesn't resize pic automatically any more so unless you have mega fast fibre just make a new folder on pc and resize the pics before upload. I'm a paid user as I have many thousands of pics due to my racing and website but it only costs a small fee. It's free for small accounts.

I've used Flickr, but find that, for some fora at least, the links don't always work, or if they do, they provide only a link, not direct display of the image. Is it me, or is this something that Photobucket does better than Flickr?
