I'm proud to be English and British and am definitely not racist.

I'm proud to be British but not particularly proud of the way the country voted last week. I can accept the result because that's democracy but the fact that we were lied to about important things like the NHS makes me wonder if these are the right people to take us out of Europe?
The referendum exposed a darker side of some of the British people that I'd sooner not be associated with and that's going to stick with us for a long time

Over the last 10 years, I've often thought (generally after beer)that if I ever met Bliar, Brown or Balls I would dot them on the nose, however they are safe now, as Mr Farage is much more deserving. (thumbs)

I'm currently sitting outside a cafe in Monschau (Germany) reading some of the reports on racist attacks on Polish members of the community since the result was announced. I feel physically sick to see this kind of thing in my home country.
