Re: EU. In or out?

ok .. so I have thought about it, and come up with a compromise deal.
the UK is still divided 50/50 ish to remain or stay.
so neither remain nor stay will satisfy.
noone will be fully satisfied with either deal.
so a half in half out is possibly a good idea?
not a million miles from the eu/may deal.
but no backstop
. leave the eu on haloween.
. this would be a hard brexit .. but a soft interaction.
. this hard brexit would meen that there is no ni backstop as that was invented by the eu to keep the uk in.
. the actioning of the relationship eu/uk would continue as present, like a transition period.
. the uk would be an independent sovereign state, but under the auspises of the eu.
. uk law would be supreme, but be advised by eu law, which it would broadly follow but with the power of veto etc.
. the uk would choose what legislation it wants or needs from the eu legislators.
. free movement of people would continue, but they would only receive the money and benefits from their own country.
. single market to continue .. but uk allowed to trade to the world, and retain fisheries, agriculture etc.
. customs union to remain.
. money movement to remain.
.
noone will be happy with it (except me) but it is a way out of the impasse.
before it could be implemented, this proposition would need to be ratified with a peoples vote.
furthermore, such referrendum would take place every 5 years to keep in tune with the people .. the questions being changed to suit the times and circumstances.
feel free to copy my proposition and send it to the heads of the eu and uk
where it will be rejected out of hand in the interest of personal power
