Yes, quite a bit, half a dozen times a year for the last couple of years and although I of course haven't covered the whole country (don't do that in the UK and I live here!) it all seems pretty much tickety boo, bit like here but a teeny bit more civilised, bit tidier but loads more boiled cabbage

I just had a taste of life outside of the EU. My Serbian friends father has cancer and needs treatment. I have just helped him to send some money from Spain to Serbia so his sister can bribe the specialist to put him on the list for treatment.

The way things are going Ms May will have to choose between No Deal exit and revoking article 50. Both suck.

Don't agree with that Bren. Of course No Deal sucks big time. Heaps of evidence for that. But the only thing that one portion of the population might think would suck about revoking A50 is the perceived affront to their choice in the 2016 ref. In every other respect remaining in the EU is the sensible and obvious decision, made even more obvious by the present crisis.

Everything screams STOP and abandon this nonsense before the public bill reaches 100 billion (which will be within the current year). Cut the losses now and restore some order. The price of upsetting those among the 17.4 million who haven't either died or changed their minds is well worth paying, in view of the much bigger picture. When you make a bad mistake, just have the guts to admit it, reverse and regroup.

True enough but the fallout will be massive. Loads of people will be affronted, we will have euro elections and fill Brussels with MEPs half of which will be rabid saboteurs. Our international standing will be destroyed (whatever the outcome). The next GE will have regions lost to UKIP or whatever follows from them who will subvert our home affairs too.
