To be fair, he's not fleeing Brexit just the UK tax system and he's obviously decided that he can put up with the rules of the undemocratic, federal state antics of the EU as long as he can keep some extra dosh

It's just a coincidence...

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

More Project Fear, I expect.

Anyway, I'm sure investors will be flocking to the UK to open new car factories.

the Russians were keen for us to leave...perhaps we could start making Ladas or Trabants?

Free from all the EU 'red tape' regarding safety and emissions, we can all have a new Trabi to drive around in.

Think how smart they will look parked outside Wetherspoons while their owners tuck into Spam and instant mash!

... and the award for ‘biggest negative Nelly’ goes to...

Regardless of what any of you believe is or is not going to happen, bleating on about it on a backwater motorcycle forum is not going to change the outcome, but if it helps.

Look at Nissan and Honda logically....

1. Why announce these withdrawals a mere 6 to 8 weeks before the odds on there being a decision that would guide them properly, not speculatively. They don’t decide these things in 2 months or maybe even 12 months.
2. They are taking production to Japan, not to another EU country, so it is highly unlikely Brexit is a decisive factor except in the minds of a lousy reporter or a Remainer looking for clues.
3. Honda don’t have any other manufacturing in the EU but are keeping their offices in the UK so it’s not being lost to an EU country.
4. Nissan are keeping all other production in the UK, the current ‘withdrawal’ was only an intended expansion.
5. As Japan is signing a trade deal with the EU, they presumably don’t need a prescence within the EU to avoid tarrifs so they may aswell build at home.

To my dim mind, these moves were being made irrespective of Brexit but it needs to be deemed a part reason to feed the doom mongers.

Honda has motorcycle factories in Spain and Italy, and a lawn-mower factory in France.

On the news today Honda say that leaving Swindon has nothing to do with Brexit!
They are leaving UK/Europe to make cars in Japan, at least they are honest enough not to blame it on Brexit as some companies are doing!
Undoubtedly some companies are affected by Brexit but the incompetence of our current government in not having a plan so that everyone knows what the hell is going on is the main problem!

Mind you...two years ago Honda told the House of Commons Select Committee that, in the event of a no-deal, they'd be off. They are so heavily dependent on JIT production they could not have a border delay of even 15 minutes.

Obviously, things have moved on since then.

It's a great shame...Honda Swindon was exporting nearly all its production, to the USA as well as the EU, and even to Japan.
