I feel personally very lucky living in a small rural village that still has a pub -

Tremendous lunchtime session with friends and family with a cracking xmas dinner of roast duck that followed

The one thing missing in the village we live in is a pub :(

Fortunately I've got enough beer to see me through a couple of months and by then I'll have a decent supply of home brew on the go and my next door neighbour is very keen to start brewing his own so by summer we should have our equivalent of a micro brewery up and running.

On a bike related front I now own a Davida Moto matt black crash helmet and a pair of suitable goggles so I can pretend I'm Wallace when my sidecar finally arrives (thumbs)

A quiet day with wife and 2 teenage daughters, apparently there's no need to get up early now because the presents don't disappear till midday. Late lunch about 3, couple of local visits and a relaxing evening with my bottle of Crusted Port.
I was very lucky because the big Fella brought me a Drift camera so I can replay the moment it all went wrong, learn by my mistake and don't fall off again. I did say I could sell the bike and cut out the middle man
I hope you've all had a peaceful and uneventful Christmas Day. The lucky ones will have spent them with family and friends, the unlucky would have been working and been forced to spend it alone - my thoughts are with you people (with raised glass I salute you)
