Glorified advertising whoredings

Did they entertain us; well we're up to page 9 on this subject alone :woohoo:
Job done (thumbs)

Rossi should have retired gracefully several years ago when everybody loved him. At this rate he'll become a pest and be remembered as someone who had a 'hayday' but went well beyond it.

(Said the Stoner fan)
A hayday that saw him five points off the championship

What a crock - Rossi will be remembered as a great racer and champion long after Whoregay and Marcia have been forgotten!

Rossi has won 9 championships, couldn't ride the ducati, marquez will be won more than that by the time he's 30,so he would be the GOAT but nobody will say that because they are all blinded by rossi he can do no wrong.

It is you who are blind.
Rossi is without doubt one of the best bike racers of all time.
Marquez is a superb rider and MAY win more titles than Rossi. MAY!
Until then, it is you that is blind.

Rossi's career spans a time of enormous change in the premier class. From 500cc 2-strokes to litre 4 strokes and then 800s. Rossi is the only current top rider to have experienced and survived all the changes, and to have adapted to them superbly. He risked moving from Honda to Yamaha and proved the neigh-sayers wrong; then gambled with Ducati and lost. Then returned and won afresh. While others took the money and played safe he experimented with manufacturers and riding techniques, leading the field in innovation. And he did it all while entertaining global audiences in a way unmatched by any of his peers. Rossi single-handedly lifted MotoGP to the heights it is at today, and despite their undoubted talent Marquez, Lorenzo and Pedrosa etc owe him a hell of a lot. He has absolutely earned and deserves the GOAT label, without reservation.

Kenny Roberts. Won on the dirt tracks on both 2 strokes & 4 strokes. Won on 750 & 500 2strokes. Won the 500 World title in his first season racing in Europe.

Won 250 & 500 titles as a team manager. Developed his own bike that was relatively competitive against everything the Japanese could throw at it.

He even bred a World Champion (thumbs)

I don't think he (or anyone else) is the GOAT but he's easily the equal of Rossi.
