Re: ABR sticker seen in facebook rant by Dez
It's not 'safe' to dazzle other road users...perhaps the fact that you have angered a biker should make you stop and wonder how many other drivers have been distracted by you and cursed all motorcyclists as a result? ..in some circumstances additional lighting is unnecessary and a hazard..perhaps turning them off when you are in traffic once you have made your presence known would be a good idea?Teflon Jnr wrote:I've spoken too dez and he's actually retracted this statement on FB funny that as I've proved my lights are mot passed and he's writing an apology as we speak I ride with the abr sign on my bike with pride and I ride safe his response was my lights was to bright

Just because they haven't stopped you doesn't mean they weren't quietly cursing you....anyway it was just a suggestion...and personally I am biased as I hate auxiliary lighting.....Teflon Jnr wrote:Maybe macdee lol there was only me and this chap on the road gedge I've sat at night behind road traffic officers and not once had a problem

Re: ABR sticker seen in facebook rant by Dez
This is the apology received from Dez regarding his earlier post: In relation to my earlier post it seems I've got the wrong end of the stick in relation to a chap passing me I've misconstrued the gesture going past me and I've got the wrong end of the stick. Be that as it may, I've upset someone I have respect for and that wasn't my intention. I'm man enough to own up when I've got something wrong and I've spoken directly to the lad who was riding and I'm putting this up as a public open apology for posting what was probably a bit of an excessive rant earlier. It isn't my intention to offend anyone and I offer my complete apologies to anyone who is upset with me as a result of my earlier post.
