Found the 44 ltr dry bags at Aldi thanks. Perfect for metal pannier liners or for the back rack as you show.

I think you mean Wadi which is for the correct Arabic for 'Valley', but was used by the Brit Army to refer to a dry riverbed, (yes I know but that is Arabic for you!), that may at times contain water, when I was in the Oman it most def meant Valley,

My point is don't camp in a dry river bed if any risk of rains in the mountains as they can flash flood. In Libya I have seen contractors Portakabins and vehicles washed away with loss of life but no local rain. Remember water created the river dry river bed.
