More to the point why are folk crawling behind him at 55 mph when the limit is 70 mph!!

I overtook a guy out on a white Pan Europpean tonight, with one of those fucking ludicrous Tabards on it, that say "POLITE" on the back... And he had what appeared to be police stickers on the fairings, which I think said "Metropolitan Polite" where the force name would be. He also had high vis blue & yellow stripes on the back of his panniers. He was doing about 55mph on the M66 and had an enormous amount of cars crawling along behind him.

Who do these dicks think they are?! I cant believe that by changing one letter that people get away with impersonating a police officer.

I see a fair few of those Tabards.... Whyyyyy??!!!!!

My thoughts exactly :whistle: if a REAL police vechile is doing 68mph on a motorway you crawl past at 70, wait until there is a decent distance and then pin it (thumbs)

Slightly off topic but in my youth I was living with a free party crew (warehouse raves) called e-coli. The logo was a pun based on Avon and Somerset Constabulary. 'Avin it Somewhere Constantly! Considering the state of us all at the time I've always thought it was an absolutely inspired bit word play.

That said no one would ever confuse a gang of deadlocked, glow stick waving, soap dodgers for Bristol's finest...

I can't find the article but this twat was in MCN a couple of years back as he chases down riders he deems are riding too fast and gives them a naughty boy talk then runs to police to tell them all about it..... I bet the police where he lives really love him turning up :whistle:

Have a few wearers among the local IAM group, like many of the choices us bikers make I try to think each to their own but this does make me cringe. Maybe shouldn't say this but the wearers I've seen do seem to be all of a certain type, all the gear, biggest bike, biggest panniers so maybe the vest is just one more look at me :whistle:
