Is he? Have we never been frustrated at someone procrastinating over a task and said the same? At his age he can't afford to be taking too long for things.

The photographers doing his job, and Prince Philip is doing his job, and he gets paid a hell of a lot of money for dressing up and sitting there waiting while people takes pictures of him.

Now we probably all have lost our rag and done similar at some time or another, but if I told a junior colleague to f***ing get on with it in a moment of impatience, then I'd expect to be called an arse for doing it, and possibly the HR dept would be having a few words with me about it too.

Easy target ! I could put 20 photos up each day of old people who have been rude to me, & even more of foreigners who have been rude or impatient. Yes he & the rest of the royals have a privileged life but also give a shed load of their life & liberties up, simple things like a walk to the shops or standing at your front gate picking ya nose .......or even telling an incompatant photographer who's faffing around to get on with it !!!! & no I don't pick my nose at the front gate but I could if I wanted too & no-one would care

He is a WW2 vet, surely he deserves a bit of respect for that, if nothing else?

He's ok in my book, says what he thinks, unlike the wimps we elect to government.

To be honest I'm surprised at those giving him criticism as I think he would fit in to this forum perfectly, he is the archetypal grumpy old git, and good on him for it....i wonder if he's got a bike?
