Eerrr I did spend quite a while on goggle earth looking for any signs of our old base up north in SWA (Namibia) and the one on the 18` longitude line - spent a very long six months there :(

1st Battalion The Queens Lancashire Regiment (Infantry), 1972 - 1982, even though the Regiment no longer exists, we still meet every year, it's now held at the Coast Riders cafe in Blackpool, because most of us turn up on bikes.

That is why I state Senior service But it isn't just Pongo's that serve I Have been boats dropping packs ashore F2 HMS fearless and Fast roping Boarding team for arms embargo against former Yugoslavia I think that qualifies as some Pongo activity :whistle: :whistle:
