Mine is Katy. I think it help the wife understand more when I spend money on it. It's like a daughter.

Wife, "what you buy that for."
Me, "Katy needed it."

Because I don't want two things that are hot, throbbing, big and powerful between my legs unless one of them is a she, and certainly don't want that if one of them is an "it".

Bikes are "she" due to sexual insecurity

That bike & this bike, which is which depends on which one I'm sitting on/nearest to at the time.

My mate had a Bonnie back in the 70's that we called the 'Torrey Canyon'.

The sex of my bikes has always depended on their name which tends to vary, no fixed rules for me.

The 990 is "Fab" short for Fabrizio (after Meoni)

The CCM is "Betty" (Backfiring Betty from Bolton to give her full name)

The 525 hasn't been named yet, maybe Cyril (after Despres) once it's back in full Rally trim?

OH's Hyperstrada is Daisy as in Daisy Duc(ati)DOH!
My V7 Classic is Dinky because its looks dinky compared to everyone elses!
My smart car is called BUG because its green and black and looks like a bug!
and our MINI is called mouse - guess why?
