I find your post a bit distressing.

I got as far as "Imagine no possessions" and had to imagine no motorbikes in my garage.

Now listen to me you Hippy, don't spread stupid ideas like that around, you're off your head! ;)

I best get a haircut and have a bath ;)

Also I spent a good 30 minutes hunting round the internet looking for Green Party info on 2 strokes and there was nothing. The only mention was the Ozzy green party.

Imagine no possessions (except motorbikes and camping stoves)
I wonder if you can (compare luggage capacity and boil times)

People say I'm a dreamer (because I expect my CCM to be delivered this year)
But I'm not the only one (who hopes the new africa twin won't be overweight and boring)

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Their hatred of 2-strokes isn't in their manifesto because they've already been legislated against but it was tree huggers forced the manufacturers to get rid of most of them in the '70s and one tree hugger is the same as the next one as far as I'm concerned.

65% of people did not vote, yet they still claim to have a majority and a mandate, they will never change, because they don't have to and they are there to protect the establishment.
what does an ox/bridge educated multi millionaire now about the aspirations of the working class.

cheers Spud ;)

Adventure motorcycling is a challenge for those who go but only a dream for those who stay behind.

Every time we vote we are giving out sign of approval to this system of being rulled by a political elite. It's scary to think that many young MP's went to university to study politics...they are professional MP's with no real world experience.

The only way this will ever change is if the majority do not vote.

Russel Brand is also pushing this view.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments, we are probably (certainly this time) already there. Only 48% voted in London and the consensus was that, that was good.

TBH, if only 3 people voted, one for one party and 2 for another, the second party would claim they won 2/3 of the vote and ride on the crest of a landslide victory.

Oh, and Russel Brand :silly: ....seriously.

I think they would think the system had won ; apathy rules & the cows are watching Eastenders & chewing the cud. We can milk them at our leisure.

Its like McDonalds....their patties contain 100% beef, irrespective of exactly how much of the pattie is actually beef cos that part is 100%. 40% of the population vote...its still a 60% majority landslide to the victor.

I did vote & voted Green for MEP....mainly because they're the only ones that have objected to the Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership which is going to allow corporations to dictate law to governments worldwide. Am I a cynic to think that is a bad thing?
