On the saddle, what drives us is the right mix of instinct and preconceived notions!
For instance, the preconceived notion which weakens me the most is the "Color" of the tarmac!
When I ride on a deep grey tarmac I am likely to take more risks...on the other hand, when I ride on a shiny light grey tarmac I am scared of sliding!
Am I being silly or have you got the same feelings?
Alessandro

That's really funny!!SteveW wrote:Cow shit slows me down.
By the way it is funny as much as we should think.....
...Riding up to mountain passes could be very dangerous if you bend over a cow shit! :woohoo:
I wonder why are you concerned about it with a sidecar, though!

I concur with the colour thing (with a U), especially when that colour is white, but also every other change in the road / track surface that I find myself riding on. Probably being over cautious most of the time, but my risk taking days are well behind me.

Please, forgive the missing U...
You are right, white tarmac can be dangerous too!
I remember myself following another bike, and suddenly I was hitted by loose gravel coming from the rear tyre of the bike ahead! Guess what?....I slowed down!!

Please don't apologise Sandro. If you had an American English teacher, or have an American spell checker, I guess it wouldn't have a U.

Not only his Italian, but also his computer skills in my case!
Just how do you insert quotes on an iPad?
