wheres a couple of things as a teenager that were totally out of my price range but yearned for.
a frend of mine in the late sixtys had a omega speedmaster watch (his parents were well healed)the one used on the moon landing.
i really wanted one ,well it took me 40yrs but yes i have one!!
back then there was a iconic film Easy Rider you lookat it now and wonder what we saw in it
but at that time it was magic .
course i wanted a Harley and yes 40odd years later i have two and love them both.
i allways wanted to go to see the Himalayas done that to this October.
so what was your desire and have you fulfilled it???

A chopper (Raleigh) and a Johnny 7.
Got both eventually, someone left a chopper lent against our back fence in the 80's about 10 years too late!
Bought a Johnny 7 (missing hand grenade) at a car boot in the 90's about 20 years too late!

When I was 13 and competing in Trials I had a Yamaha TY175, but I really wanted one of these



The exclusive and much competitive Majesty Yamaha Trials bike

I did get one 10 years ago (see pic), but it has been eclipsed by modern Trials bikes nowadays, but in the early 1980's it was the dogs

I really wanted a Kawasaki 750H2 when they were still a current model and I still want one now but with prices upward of £15k being asked it's not happening
