What is it about Christmas, everyone wants to be jolly and wish you merry xmas, but they don;t mean it. "All the best" ,,,,, if I hear that again from those who would normally ignore me I will scream.
Then there is 'er in doors'.
Talk about spending money like a good un, all for one day.
New dinner service , why I have no clue. We bought one last year, and the year before. I can no longer hide my bike porn in the pot cupboard. Then there is shopping, not for anything specific, just to join the other lost souls answering to the new religion of consumerism. Its mad out there, and when I say I want to go a eat Chilli at the ABW today, I end up in a massive row about quality time together. 33 bloody years of QT surely a day off is allowed. Apparently not.
Kook in ell, she has 11 days off ..... what the hell am I going to do with her for eleven days????? (No, not after 33 years LOL).

My only saving grace is that the weather 'might' be good enough to ride on me tod at least once over the season.

Other than that may I wish you all a very merry xmas and a better 2014.

Same as you mate, I bloody hate Xmas. The only good thing about it is the time off. Just wish it was in the Summer when the weather is better.

I must admit - great for the kiddywinks but I wish it was over.I'm a retired cop and have worked Christmas day several times and have been to house burglaries, fatal traffic accidents and even a sudden death on Christmas days.Just another day and then the worst one,New Years Eve !

Being an atheist I never celebrate it, recent conversation I had with someone

"you putting decorations up this year"

Me "no"

"you didn't put any up last year"

Me "no"

"Is it because you have just decorated"

Me "no I'm an Atheist"

"what's that got to do with it"

Me "doh it's called Christ mass for a reason"

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR XMAS TO TREAT SOMEONE DECENTLY......

cheers Spud ;)

Personally, I like Xmas - I get a couple of days off that I don't have to use annual leave for (thumbs)
Merry Xmas :)
