toyota surf 3 ltr cheap low millage jap imports around- go anywhere bullet proof.

Hi Mike probably totally off the mark but if you want something the whole family can enjoy on the lanes this in my opinion needs to be on the list. has other benefits as well if it is the camper version.



Probably a million miles from what you want though.

Re the kubelwagen .their was one in Glasgow kept in dry storage up till 2 years ago .as a dept I .i could have bought it for £700 .and I'm not kiddin, and it was running .a thats life :(

I had a 3.0 td auto. They have so much torque for off-roading it doesn`t matter what gearbox it is. You can still play with the gears using the Overdrive button and sports mode button. Climbing hills at the quarries was superb. No need to use all that power. If I had to be ultra critical, the lowest gear is a touch high for VERY steep descents. (I`m talking quarry stuff) Have a look on Hiluxsurf forum. Just dont buy a 2.4 hilux surf due to the head problems.
