I left Salop as soon as I possibly could - still seventeen! - and have rarely been back so don't know if there has even been a 'rave' there! But I do remember four of us driving down to Leicester - the 30 October 1973 gig at de Montfort Hall I guess, but have no memory of the gig itself, just the four of us, all biggish bikes then, squeezed into a Renault 4 belonging to one the our mums ...

Definitely plus 1 for that Dave - I'm sure I saw them at the Oranges and Lemons pub, St, Clements - of course! - in Oxford in about 1976 ... and stone me for once my memory is correct!
