Chevrolet had a car in the states called the nova. They tried to sell it in Latin America but no one bought it. No va means doesn't go in Spanish!

In Spain the old Renault 4L - great cars in their day, got us to the Sahara! - are called Quatro Latas which means four tin cans :laugh:

Meanwhile - a big hand for the Bedford Rascal mini-van and a plumber in Hove who had the decal copied to read:

Porsche, already was a name, as is Mercedes.

As for Stupid Names what about BMW F650gs (and F700gs) which as we all know are 800's, better off calling them Colin and Andy; BMW are just as bad with cars. And yes, I have an F650gs, and it is a great bike, but explaining that IT'S NOT A 650 confuses everyone.......whereas my Transalp is just that, a Transalp!
