It's because they can get away with it, as your second order shows.

Why not ask them, why the dispatch takes so long and ask about the cost for postage.
Courier companies charges have increased.
The courier company I use charge £6.00 up to 25Kg but also use volumetric weight and charge which ever is more.
Then you have fuel surcharge and VAT on top, so I guess £10.00 is not bad.

As for other companies being half the postage cost i guess they build some extra into the item cost to offer a perceived lower P&P or they might take a hit within the profit margin

TT perhaps don't want to do this?

I've used TT a lot and happy, if its what you want you'll pay the price.
I've had items shipped next day and others that have taken longer.
If they are busy and have a lot of orders to ship this sometimes happens.

I ordered just some TT stickers for my fork guards, showing in stock, but was told had to wait 10 days.

Put them on a week ago and they've friggin come off after one bloody hose wash (not power washed), £10 literally down the fookin drain!

Can I be honest and say that these "let's knock Touratech" postings are getting boring now?

If the buying public thought that their items are overpriced and that the service is shoddy then they would go elsewhere and Touratech would either:

A) Go out of business; or
B) Improve their customer service and price their products realistically.

The paying public are happy to keep giving them their hard-earned cash, therefore Touratech must be doing something right.

ps: other providers of farkling bling are available ;)
