Thats very smart Spud , plenty of room for man things ..Just needs a coat of paint :)

There's also a lot of valuable roof space being missed out on.

We had a new garage built this year and I insisted that the roof was boarded out and a light put up there and it's now nearly full of things that might otherwise have been on the floor.

I boarded the underside of the trusses in ours a few months ago & insulated above it to 170mm with some insulation we had lying around I also made 2 access hatches in opposite corners so the things I don't use much can be stored above one of the best things I did was to get some 3mm rubber checkerplate from ebay as floorcovering best £120 I've spent warm to lay on & keeps the tyres off the cold concrete I sealed & painted the floor first if you don't have the rubber floor the warm car tyres lift the floor paint next time you drive off.
***just like Britney Spears oops I did it again……sold the Scrambler & as of now there may not be a replacement***

I've used stable mats on the floor at £36 a pop, it's a work in progress at the moment

We fitted the back of my mums van with stable matting , it's a swine to fit but it works. Stops her harp getting bashed around as she moves it about. Plus it's a doddle to keep clean :)
