Warks/Northants tomorrow 15/10

Post by Tyrant68 »

I know a little last minute but I'm taking another forum member + 1 out tomorrow.
A lot of lanes to ride and making the most of them whilst they are dry and the weather is 16 deg and sunny. (perfect)
Open to another 1-2 riders.
Starting in the village of Woodford Halse at the Old Station Cafe 9-9.30
The route is 130 ish miles , knobblies preferred but tourances can be diverted.

134 miles today, could of shaved off 20 or so but wheres the fun in that
Thanks to Sulaco and Daryl for the company, sorry for the KTM-Butt
Started in the village of Woodford Halse, quick bacon bap and tea and headed over to do the Warwickshire UCrs, gates and byways .
Quick stop at the Canal cafe under the Rugby masts and down to Daventry to do the byway near the DIRFT/M1.
Back into Northants and the water byway at Dodford and onto Flore. Then headed over toward Silverstone to find all the clay bogs in Abthorpe woods regraded and looking like the M1 :(
Stayed and played around the network of byways in and around Canons Ashby and Moreton Pinkney then headed back to Woodford to pick up Sulaco's trailer and the 100 yards back to my house
Good weather and company :)

Ahh nice one, never think about going there but then I don't have a Yam!
Abthorpe woods in Silverstone are now ike the M1 having been graded, but at least we have lanes.
Stopped halfway through and was treated to a fly past from the Vulcan Bomber :)
KTM threw a hissy fit after being left idling for a few minutes. Looks like early warning for a headgasket :S

Bikers world is a zooki dealer

abthorpe woods was yeah like you say "graded" looked like a giant rotivator had been through there and thats weird about the vulcan i was riding along and i could hear a loud rumble from somewhere thought it was coming from the yam kept stopping every 5 mins to check it

not good about the katoom but saying that headgasket isnt a hard job at all
