OK, so Jax will be at the Ballet and you want us round to be in a Play? I vote for Phil as Lady Macbeth.

Yep, cheers, it's in the diary and I'll try my best to be there. Confirm a bit nearer the time.

Personally I think Jax should come out on the bikes with us and Phil should go to the ballet.

Funnily enough, here's a pic of him practicing in front of the Shak:

You guys are just going to have to do your very own interpretation of Swan lake when you find a suitable body of water.
I'm sure Jax would appreciate it as would we, ;)

Feckin crackin days route bashing guys, Steve and Dave turned up at the Shack this morning and i suggested doing a bit of route bashing , thumbs up all round so off we set

Off the beaten track .......

Image20190120_112241 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Following woodlouse trails as Dave now named them ........................trails my arse it was just hacking through woods

Image20190120_124502 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Finding some cool old suff on the way

Image20190120_124847 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

With an average age of a feckin lot piss stops were often

Image20190120_134840 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

And of course plenty of nap time

Image20190120_135839 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

We'd done over a couple of hour and covered at least 5kms so we stopped at the Boars Head for a brake

Image20190120_141014 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Turns out to be a bit of a killing field...................there was heads and bits all over

Image20190120_141134 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

More nap time

Image20190120_141815 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Image20190120_141819 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Its not everybodys type of fun but 3 old fellas chopping through the woods and laughing like big kids all day sure worked for us....getting to places very very few people have seen

Image20190120_142224 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Fighting our way to the highest points.................over moss covered bolders , slippy as hell .......you can't see the drop properly here but its a good 20 or 30 ft cliff edge

Image20190120_143842 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Time to head down Dave led of sking down , binned it and the plunger jumped out of the clutch socket .........thank feck , we can rest while we fix it

Image20190120_144507 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

This is the top of one hell of a long new climb , should've taken a pic at the bottom !! but there's a vid later

Image20190120_150207 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Some of the challenges were shelved for a dry day

Image20190120_152735 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

We had to walk the last 100m to the cross above Le Roc ........................we'll be back when it drier , don't mind falling off but when there a fecking massive drop on one side you think twice

Image20190120_153044 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

Those rocks were like ice

Image20190120_153416 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr

We were out for over 5hrs and only got this far from home

Great day and Jax had made the hottest damb Chilly con carnie this side of Scunthorpe

Thanks Steve and Dave for the one and only "Woodlouse trails" :D
