Re: Tour Blanche
Oh yes, still doing wrist exercises, quite exhausting now, finally found some fuel ( temp ban on filling fuel cans ) on lash at Shan's tonight, to help numb any pains.......bring on dawn's crack she could help with the wrist exercises
Re: Tour Blanche
Oh God there all turning up to night
Been and found some old wet wood for the log burner so if you all huddle around it you might get some warmth
that's if you can get it going !
Had to put some doors on up stairs ( well not stairs as you know them, just some old planks I found in the garden ) . don't wont no getting in the wrong bed , Unless that's your thing, also thought you might not like any one seeing you when your sat on the seat dropping one down the manhole ,
You guys do know I don't live in this house

Re: Tour Blanche
Yep, top day. I haven't seen that much mud for a long time. It was more like sailing a boat than riding a bike - front and rear end sliding simultaneously every few seconds. Mental.
About 190 bikes turned up ! Brilliant mixture of little 2 strokes and 4s, everything from a Beta 50 to even a KTM 690R. Mostly 250cc - 500cc enduro bikes. 91kms ridden, at least 95% off road. Marshalling and organisation superb. Good stop at about 60kms for bread rolls, satsumas and wine. Then a sit down 3 course meal for about 200 people in the community centre.
Only small thing to spoil it was a stupid old english nimby f*cker in a car who had nothing better to do with his sad little life than complain about the bikes. So we shot him and carried on. Problem solved.
As said by Steve above, many thanks to Shan and Audrey for accommodation and food, and to Phil, Barry, Shan and Steve for spraying mud bloody everywhere. Photos and hopefully some video to come.
A brilliant ride all told. Mr Large White Wine, Mr Ray Burn and Mr Ray Dox are calling...
