There was a crowd of us did it fully loaded up with panniers and camping gear a couple years back, jeezo that was an experience for my first proper off roading on an adventure bike.

Night riding is awesome the trails you thought you knew are suddenly new ones. You also worry a lot less about the terrain oddly. I rode a few weeks ago back from the Plain in the dark solo by trails on the TTR only meeting one dog walker and an equally mad cyclist. Have a ball Jim
