Green lane ride

Post by Dansin »

Chaps, looks like there’s a couple of spare spots for Saturday if any of the others that expressed an interest want to join?

One snag is the fuel pump on my 690 has died. I’ve got a replacement on order which I should have (and will fit) on Thursday. I’ll update as soon as I know I have a working bike. I could have used my Dakar but the MOT ran out last week. Along with my wife smashing up her car in the snow last week, surely that’s my 3 lots of bad luck!

I just don’t have the time to take it anywhere with my current work commitments. All being well, the katoom will be fine.

Green Lane ride

Post by Dansin »

This is one of the lanes this morning. Pics and bike belong to a mate of mine. Apparently it’s so rock hard he didn’t even need to put the sidestand down!

Sorry chaps, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to take a green lane ride out. I’ve just spent four hours trying to get the pumpkin to run without success. I’ve changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, spark plug, plus a myriad of throttle resets and anything else I can think of. I’ll get out there again after work tomorrow for another go, but at this stage by all means make other plans.

@Spannerfingers - if you need a route I can help.

HI guys
What time is the green laning group setting off?
Just trying to decide whether to travel down late Friday or early Saturday.
Bit of a last minute thought, do I need to pre book the camp site?
