Due to zero take up, probably because of other events over this weekend, this is cancelled

regards

Hi

Is this Rally Suitable for bigger off road bikes like the KTM 1190 or BMW adventure? sounds like a good couple of days.

Cheers

Sure is Roy

Danny the owner of Haggs Bank can organise mucky stuff for those who want it and his TRF buddies can do trails.

Given mine is a 16 year old Africa Twin my rides are tarmac, the military roads around Hadrian's Wall and the loose gravel of the Kielder Forest Road. My brother in law did all these on Triumph Street Triple 1050 last year

As mentioned in another post I determined to get out more this year, so this sounds like a good opportunity to get the 990 dirty.
Do you book a place via the bunk house link or is that just for the accommodation?

Bummer to read about the cancellation. Was planning to attend this, arriving by ferry in Newcastle on Thursday morning... Is it possible to camp there anyway? Will anyone be around or are there any other events in the North / Scotland?

thanks!

Greetings,

I should have liked to attend the Cumbrian Rally but I am booked to ride in the Yorkshire Airedale Trial instead on the 13th.

Great event, sort of hillclimb combined with easier trials sections suitable for trail bikes. Sections are held around Pateley Bridge area on private land, great bunch and so much fun.

Yeah it's a regular campsite so just turn up and pay

Don't know what else is on in that area as I'm 150 miles away

I gave it until last night to see if anyone else said they would go but as no one did that's why I cancelled it. Had to make a decision at some point or else the owner would have bought firewood, beer, food and booked the live act with no certainty of making any money back so not fair on him.
