Re: Taffy Dakar
Already got my ticket! Went up on my own last year with no clue or team! Brilliant people made to feel very welcome and was helped round by a team of guys I'd never met before!! First class experience would recommend it to anyone. I think a few guys from this forum made a team last year? I used my CRF250L, but there were plenty of big bikes as well.

Re: Taffy Dakar
Hi, I have finally managed to book our tickets. The website did not seem to like my iPad, phone or my son's phone, eventually I managed to book using my daughters laptop. Hopefully that is the difficult bit over with. This will be our fourth year, the Taffy is one of the most fun friendly weekends of the year. I would thoroughly recommend it.
Cheers Jak

Re: Taffy Dakar
I'm tempted to do it this year but don't know what I'm working or if it clashes with any of the other stuff I want to do.

Re: Taffy Dakar
I emailed the organisers about my solo status. Got a really nice friendly reply, basically saying get ticket and turn up. They team up all the solos on the day. I was working on new years eve, so nipped out at 1 minute past midnight and bought ticket using my phone. Not sure which bike to use 990 or the DR350.

Re: Taffy Dakar
It used to be 600cc and above. When I did it in 2013/15.
But doable on a 990 which was my weapon of choice.

I'll be there on my TTR250...
Last year's winners were 3 guys on TTR250's.
