Probably best to put me down as a beginner.

I can't download the route- so a beginner there as well!

Hi. Please put me in the slower group (just in case!) Puncture risk noted, what is the normal cause in this area? Any advice on pressures? TIA Andy

Had a puncture a couple weeks back into the sidewall no idea what the cause couldn't find anything in tyre. But it can be anything from a thorn, screws nails even heard of blank cartridge being causes.
Tyre pressure I tend to run low 20s and loosen of the valve nut to stop ripping the valve when spinning up rear.

1 loss of air from the inside to the outside
2 Family, work, debt lots of thing really, drink helps

1 Sharp flint, debris from military exercises, compression punctures (thumbs)
2 Depends on what your ridding, type of tyre, dry or wet conditions and quite a bit is down to personal preference, if its dry you can run higher pressures.
Best set a start pressure ( 21f 18r easy to remember ) and go up and down and see what suits you and you bike (thumbs)

I'd like to tag along if it's ok, would be good to put some faces to forum names as well , Not a very fast rider but can handle most terrains so happy to join either group
