ABC try trials weekend

Post by scoobydidler »

Mid avo friday im aiming to be there. Looking forward to seeing the lads try something new, trialing is easy tho isn't it? They only do like 4 mph ;-)

There will be laughs, crashes, frustration but more importantly, beer.

And because we'l all be there, all of the time, much camera action!!

Hmmmm, not sure, I got overtaken by a bloke on a trials bike at about 40MPH on the gravelly ascent from Jack Bridge a week or 2 back. I think I'll stick to 4MPH though.

I will try to get there mid afternoon/late afternoon. Depends on work.

Looking forward to it and glad to read that the taxi back from Durham is at 12:30 not 5AM

Arthur pint motor, the official mini bus is 12.30 return.
I was trying to pick a time to suit all, but if I know
The abc lot, it wouldn't surprise me if there was also
A return taxi a little later than that, we will see!

Minkyhead, that's a good plan for the ride up, I used
To ride them roads most Sundays, they are great, hope
U get some company to travel up with.

I look forward to seeing all on Fri afternoon/night.

I'm interested Steve. I know you are no Si Pavey so any trails are likely to be gentle ones... I wonder whether you think it would be suitable for my f800gs rather than the X Challenge? Given the distances involved, and the journey back on Sunday, I'd prefer to bring the 800.
