Bike all loaded for Elefantentreffen, I'm leaving Monday off to Plzen Czech Republic then onto Linz Austria then hopefully Wednesday I'll be at the Elefantentreffen, Anyway have a safe ride down

It's all good I've just ridden over 700 km today from the Nurburgring to Prague! Down to Linz in Austria tomorrow then upto the Elefantentreffen Wednesday

I'm feeling slight twinges of jealousy because if I was going I'd have been on the ferry tomorrow night and arriving Thursday lunchtime. I've got other plans for this winter that may or may not come off because of things out of my control but there's always another year.

If it rains then the last place I'd want to be is the Elefant. The last time I went it chucked it down and I was so fed up with the mud I left Saturday lunchtime

To be fair you weren't as fed up as Nick when he woke up in a wet sleeping bag from the stream that ran into his tent in the middle of the night...

But, here's hoping that we get a dry cold winter in 2017.

He was a bit miserable. In fact he was so miserable he packed up and left before daylight.

Yes, a cold winter in 2017 would be nice because you need to experience the joys of the Augustusburg Castle rally.
