working today on earlies, 6am until 2pm
Junction 33-37 on the M6 clear even sunny after lunch
Junction 37-40 on the M6 loads of snow and two lanes closed in both directions.
The A685 between Kirkby Stephen and the motorway was full of snow and Ash fell was scary at 5am this morninig, coming home the roads were clear but still plenty of the white stuff everywhere else.
And that's the weather for today.....

what's it like for the 13th - 15th Feb?

I'm leaving it until the last minute to decide whether I'm coming. Weather and Valentine's weekend dependent!

Likewise (but not for valentines day as its a made up PoS event - I treat my lady good all year round (thumbs) ). Worse case scenario is I rock up on the Saturday - is there any itinerary for the ride outs?
Cheers,

As it's 330 miles from where I live and Google Maps says it'll take me 5.5 hours to get there, I'm going to keep my eye on the weather. I don't want to get 4 hours up the road and find the last hour or so is impassible. I will give it my best shot though.
