We've taken Wills advice and are now firmly ensconced in the Camponile. I've washed the sick out of my shirt, Spuds had a shower, we're poised for an earlyish set off, not going to try and do it in one go, we'll see you when we see you but we'll keep you abreast of progress. TTFN

Good men you both! Be ready to strip pff a layer or two - it's going to be over 30º here! (thumbs)

Sounds like you are having the best journey so far.
The Pass over Larrau is still closed, so I would use the Col Pierre St Martin, this one is definatley open.
Hope the weather is ok, but you may get a bit of rain as you cross the Pyrenees.
