We will have to liase over a bit of "pass storming", Spud?

I think I might well be bringing the heated vest after all.... AND the thermal undies!
I think Friday we will be doing Caen to La Rochelle and Saturday down to meet Simon and crew on Saturday.

Stuart and I push off from St Malo Fri morning too, then down to La Rochelle...ish. Plan B is on the SatNav if the weather is shite from the West, to come inland 50miles and head for Rennes, Angers then Agen. Also meeting Simon and Co on Sat nite.

Paul is wafting down with his Missus in his new motor, bike on trailer. All the comforts of home including a chef!!!

I thought your rear was quite slim mate, didn't hang over the saddle much

cheers Spud ;)[/quote]

Will S has a French cyclist website that shows the Larráu pass closed, bloody Frogs won't clear snow off side roads. So you might have to head of Sainte Pierrre Martin into Isaba, that's open as there's a ski resort up here - this means, Spud, you'll need neck brace to stop your head falling off laughing again :)

We laugh at zee snow here in Shropshire! This is what you can do with a few worn out muck spreader chains...

Keep us posted Simon, thanks. (thumbs)
That TKC looks brand new Steve, how deeps the snow going to be?

Best I don't leave the heated gear at home with scare-mongering talk like this
