Stuart and I push off from St Malo Fri morning too, then down to La Rochelle...ish. Plan B is on the SatNav if the weather is shite from the West, to come inland 50miles and head for Rennes, Angers then Agen. Also meeting Simon and Co on Sat nite.

Paul is wafting down with his Missus in his new motor, bike on trailer. All the comforts of home including a chef!!!

Tyres arrived for the Vara, so I whipped the wheels off and I am wondering whether or not to change and balance them myself! I struggle with the huge rear though

Will S has a French cyclist website that shows the Larráu pass closed, bloody Frogs won't clear snow off side roads. So you might have to head of Sainte Pierrre Martin into Isaba, that's open as there's a ski resort up here - this means, Spud, you'll need neck brace to stop your head falling off laughing again
