Just seen a few pictures fromthe GS Trophy on facebook - it look an utter quagmire :huh:


It looked like they were running on Karoo's.... and in some of the images they look like they might as well have had racing slicks on! :woohoo:

Yep I had a go. Now fully versed at picking up GSs in the mud!

Was a great weekend though, the best bit for me being the Enduro track on the 1200. Even on the Karoo 3 in the mud it was still a lot of fun.

Big congratulations to the 3 that got through to the finals in Canada. The final challenge on the 800 wasn't for the faint hearted.

It does look like a great event

I'm offshore, so couldn't go. I imagine the standard of riding for the winners was very high, I can cheerfully keep up with the pack on an ABR rally or the taffy Dakar, but thats my limit for now! Not that winning is a big deal - I just wouldn't want to look a proper trumpet!

yep, it was just about mud, mud and more mud. oh, and it rained non stop on the first day as well. I managed 12 place but the welsh mud kicked my ass on the semi final slopes.

where did you see pix on face book? I cannot find any and I couldn't get my camera out at anytime, the conditions were so bad.
