I did it a few years ago in 2010 & went onto win it with my two team mates in South Africa. I think that if you are competent rider and you have a little luck on the day, anyone could get the Ride (3 rides!)

Weren't you the guy who had competed in MX / Enduro all his life at a high amateur level though? (thumbs)
Lol - there's competent - then there's Competent...
I quite fancy a crack at this - mainly for the fun and the experience of it - I'm working away this year - and am barely competent - but learning all the time.
Might get a few sessions in with Si Pavey first :whistle:
It is a great event though
Do they ask for PROOF that you own a GS though??
