This is the only event I've been to where no one thinks I'm mad for riding a bike or wanting to use it to travel. I really like how welcome eveyone has made me feel right form the first visit when I had just passed my bike test and not ridden further than a day trip. It doesn't matter whether you are a seasoned RTW traveller, someone looking for inspiration for future trips or day dreaming for the week you win the lottery there is something here that you will enjoy.

Only 63 more sleeps to wait
Be good to see you too hun. I take it you are both coming ???

Nah, in UK. Using a BT hub. Never mind, I saw enough of it then - I had the job of draining it. :woohoo:

Booked in and counting down the days, need to start prepping mine and the wifes bikes for the momentous journey to this event (we live 2 miles away- max). Yep moved house to be further from Ripley, so the event got moved to the village we now live in

Still the destination is part of the journey.

You couldn't keep us away! We enjoy it so much we've volunteered to help with set up :silly:

Is your good lady joining you or is she making the most of some R&R?

If it's the next village it would be Melbourne and Melbourne to Castle Donington if further than Woolongong to Woolwich surely?

Hi everyone

Looking forward to The Adventure and Travel Cinema attending the HUBB for the first time!

We are showing a range of adventure films at the show, and in the evening (if the weather allows) we will open up the cinema tent and show feature length films, so bring a blanket, sit on the grass and enjoy!

We are also looking for film submissions, from short 10-15 mins to feature length! The cinema was set up with the specific aim of giving everyone a chance to show footage from there trips. We will even help edit etc, so if you have something you would like shown, drop us a line.

[email protected]

See you at the HUBB
