I would love to try off road, but a YBR on an L plate aint gonna cut it - next time for sure though (thumbs)

Admittedly it's the YBR-G but it goes to show how good a lightweight bike can be off-road.

If I were doing a solo RTW I would take a YBR. It's the only bike we saw for sale in every country we visited so never a delay when wanting parts.

+1 on that.
They are everywhere and they are ridden everywhere too. Often carrying a complete family. It is probably the most revered bike in South America.

Now your making me rethink changing bikes.. but as much as I love it, it's just lacking that little bit of bhp.

Well my wonderful daughter has given me a pass out for her 9th birthday on the 26th, what an angel. Youngest has a birthday party on the morning but should be on my way by 2pm so up to you guys by 5pm

Bernard - don't start your talk until I get there! Telling my daughter of what you and Cathy achieved was one of the reasons she said "Daddy you HAVE to go"
