Could I tag along fellas?
I'm new to the forum and not been on any rideouts yet.
I've got an F650GS with suitable rubber still fitted.

Hello, finally joined this forum. Normal haunt is across on the www.xrv.org.uk forum.

The Peak trails will be great fun tomorrow. Check out this thread of last time I was out that way.

http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/ride-repor ... rails.html

A few photos and description of the rideout. Not all trails will be done tomorrow - the icy one is the West side of the Cat n fiddle so not on the route and Banford Clough is a bit of a nightmare...scared me last time. Stanage edge (the 1 with the 4*4's)...will decide totomorrow based on peoples experience. Not over difficult but there are a few rock steps to bounce down. Rest of the trails are great fun and aimed towards bigger trail bikes. No pressure to do any trails people dont want to do. Like AckAckFlack stated, we travel at a slow pace!!!

Will meet you all at Jellies (Yonderman cafe) at about 9ish tomorrow. Will be travelling with XT6 (from XRV) and coming from Runcorn. Should take no more than 1.5 hrs to get across, but we will be doing a few trails en route...as they are on the way!!!!.

See you all tommorrow.

Could not find you mate, rode round the village but no joy. Only cafe I could find was the Vanilla Garden which was closed and the lady in the co op said it didn't open till 10:00 :-(
Waited around till the non stop ringing of the church bells became too overwhelming :-)
hope you have a good day, will try and catch you on the next one.

Sorry Judge148, we stayed in Jellies (Yonderman) until 10am then set off. We thought you would have called Gary if you couldnt find the place. Can only think you either had no phone reception or didnt have Gary's number on you.

Theres always next time.

I didn't get a pm with Garys number. Did he get mine?
I did a couple of laps of the village but couldn't find the Yonderman or any open cafe. I'd actually got to Tideswell by 08:40 (didn't take as long as I thought to get there) and parked up at the little roundabout opposite the post office. Thought something had gone wrong when I could not find you and had no number to call :( I was getting a bit cold and as the only cafe I could find (Vanilla Garden) didn't open till 10:00 I decided to head off at about 09:20.

Oh well, no harm done, hopefully I'll have better luck next time  , I'm sure it will be warmer too B)

How was the day by the way ? I'll check out the pics on the xrv thread now
