I thought you were supposed to be cutting the grass, Paul
As Pat and Paul have indicated the baton is now back on the mainland. Here are some photos of its journey back from the Emerald Isle.
Collecting the baton from Pat on a damp Sunday morning
At the top of some viewpoint on Sunday, but the view was nowhere to be seen
Preparing to leave the Emerald Isle
Heading to Larne in wonderful sunshine
Waiting for the ferry at Strangford. I had just joined the queue when a group of French bikers arrived. In my best pigin French I tried to explain what ABRAC was about. I failed miserably, but managed to get some donations, so there may be a few Euros in there

Waiting to board the ferry at Larne
And finally handing over to Paul at Gretna Green

Re: Cancer Charity Ride - An idea to raise cash!!
Sugar plum fairy with a cherry on top just whacked in a lovely big donation taking the total to £740. C'mon we've got to do a grand! My right hand man Gorringo is riding up to John o groats this weekend to discuss the details of the bits n pieces we're going to be auctioning off. How dedicated is he?! These include
A 2 day motorbike hire voucher worth £250
A BMW rider training day worth over £300
A 2 day BMW off road training weekend in Wales worth about £500
A top of the range helmet cam worth £300
And Gorringo says if we get over a grand he'll dance on the main stage at the HUBB totally naked except for his helmet( mirror visor closed) that's got to be worth 2p!!!!
Dig deep dudes, I know times are tough but there are folks out there suffering, c'mon, lend a hand
Cheers

I can't remember what the sidecars were attached to, but the French had two sidecars with them. The guy immediately behind me was on a Deauville but that wasn't the sidecar. :unsure:Mintsauce wrote:Some nice picture being posted

Just chucked up my fish supper. To the tune of "Lipstick on your collar", altogether now "Skidmarks on your saddle!
I remember Jim Anderson from the
Highlands used to ride around the Isle of Man on his CBX 6 wearing just a kilt and a smile. Made the ladies smile too Happy days!
