What's the bit in eligeability about having 'trail bike' written in the category on the V5? Doesn't it always say bicycle?

Not sure on that one mate, but basically it needs to be either over a 600cc or classed as trail bikes, ie those that come fitted with indicators and rear pegs from the manufaturer.
We are trying to steer enduro bikes away from this as there is enough events on catering for those.
This is aimed more for the adventure/trail type larger bikes and novice friendly smaller bikes like the DRZ S and Beta Alp to name a few.

I contacted them about this and asked about a Drz400s and a Gas Gas 250 they said both bikes qualify no problem but the Drz was more suited. Seems they are happy with any trail/duel sport bike.

We did have a query about a GAS GAS but that was a pampera, The DRZ400S and that particular GAS GAS are both classed as trail bikes so will be fine.
