BMW R1150GS Cornwall

Post by Jimbike »

BMW R1150GS 2000 W Reg Yellow

54,000 miles, MOT April 2013, Tax Dec 2012

HID low beam
Goodridge brake hoses,
Tobinators to stop screen buffeting
Wunderlich crash bars,
alarm/immobiliser with two remotes that actually works and has not caused any problems,
Givi pannier bars,45l panniers,
Tourance tyres in good condition,
new paralever and steering bearings (not that they were really needed, I was just previous), new fork seals,
oil cooler protector,
perspex headlight protectors,
BMW heated grips, Touratech hand guard extenders,
stainless Y piece and Scorpion can or cat and standard exhaust,
twin fog lights.
complete BMW tool kit,
cylinder head protectors,

The minor bad bits I should mention.
Slight ding on the tank but paint is not broken so no rust, usual corrosion on the front engine cover, around engine and on fork yoke, minor paint chips on the fork legs,

Recent service and always looked after and garaged. It had a new battery a year ago, brake pads are very goodIt's a great bike that I just don't use.
Lots of paperwork history and cd of BMW manual.
It runs very well especially with the Y piece and Scorpion exhaust, comfortable cruising on motorways or pointing it down back lanes. Ready to go for a summer of riding.

£3350

I'm in Cornwall so a £100 deposit secures it until you can collect.

I've still not sold it and am not desperate but will drop the price to £3000.
If it still doesn't sell I'll convert it to a farm engine to run a rotovator, sawmill, generator and winch!

Hi all

Sorry for this bump but I just can't believe I still have my bike!

I've had interest but it seems Cornwall is too far away from most folk.
There is everything right with this bike and can only conclude the bottom has dropped out of the copper bottomed GS market.

So are there any offers before I sell it for scrap?

Cheers, I've sold it now but the price of petrol put me off offering to meet people half way to look. It can easily be 200 miles and most of a day just to show a bike.
I'll deliver for the right price. I delivered the TT600 to near you for the IoW ferry.

Anyway I've got a deposit
